It depends. Requests for records are processed in the order that they are received. Some are easy to process... some may require more time due to the complexity of the request and what approvals and reviews are required to complete. As such, to complete a request may take 10 business days or it may take four weeks (or longer).
We don't know how long your request will take until we get to it in the order received, what precisely is in front of your request, and the complexity of your request.
Public record requests are processed by the PPSO Criminal Records Department. The Criminal Records Department processes, literally, hundreds of files in a given day between PPSO and internal and external entities (such as the DA, courts, other law enforcement, or government agencies). They are the custodians of the records involving criminal investigations to include the collection of fines/fees/bonds. Processing requests is a sub-set of a broad portfolio of responsibilities.
